Tasting notes: An intense, deep black-cherry robe of beautiful depth, with virtually no sign of evolution. A very expressive nose revealing notes of licorice, cinnamon and black pepper, with a subtle touch from its long barrel aging, perfectly integrated thanks to its great complexity and ripe, concentrated fruit. On the palate, the wine is fresh and easy to drink, with a beautiful structure and silky, well-integrated tannins. The long, persistent finish leaves delicate balsamic notes of great finesse.

Food pairing: This wine pairs well with ham, mild cheeses, lightly spiced stews, bean and legume dishes, poultry, red meat, grilled meats and roasts.
